All mail order hampers and gift boxes are securely packed by Delimann for transport purposes. Any damages to any packaging including hampers must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery.
We despatch by overnight courier for next day delivery. We recommend you leave clear instructions at the checkout as to where the parcel should be delivered if no-one is at home (for example, with a neighbour) especially for our perishable goods. It is also advisable to let the recipient know that the goods are perishable, so they do not change the delivery date (a facility which is offered by email by our courier DPD). We cannot accept any liability if our courier has acted upon your delivery instructions and the parcel has been damaged, lost or stolen from this address or if the date has been changed by the recipient and this results in the perishable goods being lost or unfit for purpose. Please telephone us on 01626 201556 if you are in any doubt.
We will deliver to the address as you enter it and cannot accept any liability for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect or incomplete. If you are not sure of the address we would recommend you check before proceeding with your order. Non receipt of orders must be reported to us within 5 days.
If the delivery is not successful and the recipient has not claimed the parcel within 3 days after the attempted delivery, it will be returned to us by the courier. We incur a £12 return fee which we reserve the right to pass on to the customer at our discretion
Under the Distance Selling Directive, you may also cancel your order within seven working days of delivery. However, this doesn’t apply to food and beverages or any item made specifically for you. To cancel your order and receive a refund, you must confirm this in writing/email and return the item within two weeks of receipt and in its original packaging to Delimann, 47 Blenheim Close, Newton Abbot, TQ12 1QR. Postage costs will not be the responsibility of Delimann and proof of postage is not proof of receipt of goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
It is the policy of Delimann to ensure that all our goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every possible precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold. To this end, we do not exchange food, beverage or any other item that has come into contact with the person. This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
Every effort will be made to supply the items as specified, but as many of our products are from small artisan producers, on rare occasions Delimann reserves the right to substitute items of a similar or greater value, should the need arise. You are within your rights to decline any such substitute items. In this event you must notify us within 7 days of receipt of the goods and we will make arrangements to collect them from your address. You will receive a refund of the value of any such goods returned to us unopened within 30 days of our receipt of the goods.

On the rare occasion that a hamper or product arrives damaged, Delimann will ask that photographic evidence of the hamper or product damage be emailed to us so that we can assess a possible refund for the damaged part of the hamper. Our liability is limited to the selling price of the goods in all cases.
It is illegal to sell alcohol to persons under the age of 18. It is also an offence for persons under 18 to buy, or attempt to buy alcohol. No person under the age of 18 may place an order with Delimann if the goods contain alcohol.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable and there is no cash/credit/date alternative available. In the event of circumstances outside our control, we reserve the right to substitute the prize for an alternative prize of equal or greater value should the prize be unavailable for any reason. The winners will be picked at random from all correct competition entries under independent supervision. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Entrants must be aged 18 or over and resident in the UK. The winners will be notified by email No responsibility can be accepted for lost or misplaced entries; incomplete entries will be disregarded. One entry per individual will be entered into the prize draw.
All our Gift Hampers and Create Your Own Hampers are delivered via DPD national tracked courier service.
Our Chocolate Gifts and Giftware are delivered via Royal Mail aprox 2 day service. Please note Royal Mail is not a guaranteed delivery date service, we will aim to deliver on your chosen date or as close as possible.
You can nominate a delivery date in advance, for delivery Tuesday-Saturday for perishable goods, or Monday-Saturday Chocolate Gifts or giftware. We make every effort to ensure your order is delivered on the requested date but on rare occasions deliveries maybe delayed for reasons beyond our control eg; adverse weather, incorrect address information or recipient not being at home with no alternative instructions given to Delimann or DPD. On these occasions we cannot be held responsible for late or non-delivery of our products.
We despatch by overnight courier for next day delivery. Please include your email address and mobile phone number and ideally the recipients email address and mobile phone number, this will enable DPD to send an email or text on the morning of delivery with a one hour time slot. If these contact details are supplied, the progress of the order can also be tracked via the link the courier will send. We strongly suggest you inform your recipient that you are sending them perishable goods so they do not change or extend the delivery date. If no emails are received, please check your spam/junk file.
We cannot accept any liability if the date has been changed by the recipient or the sender has changed the date with DPD and this results in the perishable goods being unfit for purpose.
It is extremely important that we have the correct address and postcode. We will deliver to the address as entered on the order form and therefore we cannot be held responsible for late or failed delivery if the quoted address is incorrect or incomplete.
If your delivery address is within the Highlands or ANY UK Islands please adjust your delivery date to accommodate the 2 working day delivery service (not including weekends).
Orders received by 2pm between Monday and Thursday will be delivered free next day or chosen weekday (excluding Highlands & All UK Islands) between 8am and 6pm. If you have chosen a Saturday delivery or you delivery address is in the Highland or UK islands there will be an additional charge at the checkout. We make every effort to ensure your order is delivered on the requested date but on rare occasions deliveries maybe delayed for reasons beyond our control eg; adverse weather, incorrect address information or recipient not being at home with no alternative instructions given to Delimann or DPD. On these occasions we cannot be held responsible for late or non-delivery.
For orders placed on Saturdays & Sundays the earliest day for delivery is the following Tuesday. If unsure, please contact us for more information.
Deliveries are made between 8am and 6pm – unless an AM delivery has been requested at the checkout. This incurs an extra courier charge.
Unfortunately as our couriers don’t pick up on a Saturday or Sunday we can’t deliver on Mondays, this is to avoid our fresh food items being left in delivery depots for the weekend.
We strongly advise that someone is available to take delivery or clear alternative instructions are given at the checkout (ie leave with neighbour/in porch etc). Wherever possible the driver will try to follow these instructions, however goods will be left at the drivers discretion, for example if the driver feels it unsafe to leave at a premises he will not do so. If no instruction has been left, you are giving permission for the driver to use his own judgement regarding the delivery.
We cannot be held responsible for the non receipt of goods if there has been an attempted delivery on the requested date and no-one has been available to receive the parcel. The courier company will make 2 attempts to deliver.
If the hamper is being delivered to a hospital ward we would advise checking that the hospital is able to accept parcels for patients as Delimann will not be liable if a delivery is refused.
